Language of the Term

To celebrate cultural diversity at playgroup, each term, Sarah, our Language Lead, introduces a new country, language and culture to the children. They will look at the flag and globe to find the country as well as learn a few key words, listen to music and taste food from the country. To support the learning at playgroup, the children will take home some words and Sarah would like to encourage you to practise them with your child.

During the Winter term, the children will be learning about China.

Previously, the children have learned about Spain, Finland, Wales, Italy and Germany.

If you have any questions or suggestions, or can help with our language programme, please speak to Sarah.
